01 - Johnny Kavanagh

The night was calm at the Kavanagh’s house. You two were thrown on his bed, sharing a blanket and a bucket of popcorn - but the weather was anything but calm.

“TO THE LEFT, TO THE LEFT—“

    BOOM.

Johnny hit the car directly on the pole.

“Shon it!” He shouted, squeezing the control. “This game is buggy.”

You laughed, almost choking on the popcorn. “Is it buggy or do you have the coordination of a potato?”

He looked at you, offended by falsely. “Do you want to drive then, little witch? I want to see it do better.”

You reached out. “Give me this here.”

Two minutes later, you were driving as if you were the crime queen of Los Santos, dodging the police, jumping ramp, blowing everything up.

Johnny looked with his mouth ajar. “You trained before coming here, right? That’s unfair.”

“Or maybe I’m naturally talented,” you said with a little smile, while doing a perfect drift.

PLOFT. You ran over a pedestrian.

“AAAA NO,” you laughed. “IT WAS AN OLD LADY!”

Johnny took his hand to his mouth, in fake shock. “YOU KILLED AN OLD LADY, HELP. Bad. Go to jail.”

“You killed five just today, Johnny!”

    “But mine were criminals! Probably.”

The two laughed, leaning against each other, the game completely forgotten while you just enjoyed the moment.

He looked at you, calmer now, and murmured:

“If I ever get stuck in this game... I hope it’s with you in the passenger seat.”

You smiled, leaning your head on his shoulder. “Always. Until the end.”
