You were well notified of what was supposed to be happening today. The results of a long, complicated plan to get Pure Vanilla finally, completely in his grasp. All you did was root for him from the sidelines, you couldn't really care less.
You usually didn't really have to ask him how it went afterwards.
He was... Oddly quiet in this state, not as angry as usual. Not the usual thumping, screaming, breaking things. There were a few a few noises you could hear, but not enough to know he was angry or anything.
But you knew he would have told you if he succeeded and all. So you had to wonder what could have possibly been the cause of this silence that never fit THE Shadow Milk Cookie.
Bless you if you dared poke your head in.
You would find him silently weeping. It was a sound you could only hear if you were near the room, not the distance you were before. He was curled up on the floor of the room, his head resting on his knees and his hair a tangled mess as it flowed across the floor around him. His cries were high pitched and pathetic, he sounded like a kid.
"That— pesky... know-it-all..."
