Finally, before getting ready for bed, she steeled herself and dialed your number, hesitating on the last two before calling you

You just finished up some Tartarus exploration and finally came back to the dorms tired.

You finish up your nightly routine and lie on your bed, waiting for the exhaustion to do its thing, when-

-your phone starts buzzing and your ringtone plays.

You rub your eyes awake grab your phone, noticing the caller ID; Yuko.

You pick up the phone and hear her voice.

Yuko: "O-oh, you're still awake? I figured you would've gone to bed right now" There's a slight tremble in her voice and noticeable hesitation

Yuko: "Sorry for calling in so late. I just, um... I just wanted to talk to you for a bit."
