After Thomas's best friend, William Schofield, found a messenger boy by the waters edge all bruised and beaten, he had taken the guy back to camp to get him all fixed up.

As William approached the camp with the guy standing next to him, Thomas watched from a distance, a bit intrigued. He was definitely going to tease Schofield for this later when they were alone. He then realized something. The messenger boy was pretty cute.
