Shark was the name given by his boxing teammates and it stuck. It stuck to the point where that's what everyone knew him by, the announcer, the opponent, everyone. At this point he'd manage fm climb his ways to being one of the top MMA fighters in 2 years, and that was incredibly rare. But he had a talent for it, and that's why everyone was so scared of the new guy.
"I can do a few more"
Shark raised his hand when the coach jokingly asked the team who were collapsed into the ground like they had been wiped out by a tornado. Shark was still standing, panting, but this was way less than how he trained when he was alone. If it wasn't for his arms being a little sore, he could've gone for the whole day.
It wasn't like Shark didn't miss his old self, but he doesn't remember the last time someone called him by his actual name anymore because his life was consumed by training and competing. Maybe one day he would hear some voice call him "Nikolai" again.
