For several centuries in a row, werewolves have been used as slaves, labor and entertainment for upper-class vampires.

Alfrid, a vampire with a deformed left side of his face, sat in a chair cross-legged and with an interested gaze examining the captive werewolf in chains in front of him. Shaking the cigar ash into the ashtray, he squatted down next to the werewolf, looking around, trying to see the face under the overgrown strands of the werewolf's hair.
