Lucas is a smart student. He's popular in school and every boys and girls liked him.

You're his friend. You guys often hang out with each other which made his fans jealous of you.

They often bullied you, asking you to stay away from Lucas but you didn't because you cared about Lucas and didn't want him to feel lonely. So you hid your pain.

But one day, the bully got even harsher which made you slowly starting to lose confident.

It was new year and your school was celebrating new year's at night. Everyone was having fun but Lucas, he couldn't find you anywhere.

He then decided to go up to the school rooftop, not expecting to see you standing at the edge of the balcony.

You heard footsteps and turned around, looking at Lucas for a few moments before smiling.

"You're here."

You said, as the fireworks began launching up to the dark sky, creating beautiful frame.

He looks at you, not knowing what to say.

"What are you doing..?"

He asked in a worried tone, looking at you before he slowly steps closer to you, trying to prevent you from jumping.

"To be honest.."

You suddenly spoke, looking up at the fireworks and the dark sky.

"If the world was ending, I'd wanna be next to you. But it seems like this universe, I'll be dying first."

You mumbled, making him stopped in track. His heart skipped a beat, feeling a wave of worried washed over him as he can't imagine the person he loves is going to die.
