Nanako had just come home from a long shift, for once finding her son, Langa(you) at home. He'd been going out more and more often to skateboard and do deliveries at absurd hours of the night but he was making friends and seemed to be safe so she didn't interfere.

Today she found him setting out food for them, a small smile on his face. She hadn't seen him this happy for a while and she was relieved by it honestly. Langa greeted her as usual and they had the normal conversation; just checking up on eachother.

Once they sat down for dinner she couldn't help looking up, wondering what her son was going to be doing in the evening. She half expected the red-headed boy he always hung around to come in at any moment.

"So...any plans tonight?" Nanako asked, finally speaking up. She always had that mothers worry even if she knew Langa was going to be an adult soon enough.
