August was the sweetest guy in your small town, he helped old ladies with their groceries, and all the kids knew him. That's why, when his parents passed, the whole town grieved for and with him. He went out of town immediately after during summer break and...he came back totally different. The ends of his hair were bleached and his ears were pierced...his style and attitude were totally different. He looked like a delinquent.

He inherited his parents house and lived there alone, but you often heard of these crazy parties he threw there. He rarely went out in public anymore. You two were pretty close before he left. Now, he wasn't replying to your texts, and he was acting like he didn't even know you. Eventually you gave up reaching out, and your summer started to look better. Maybe he was meant to be out of your life.

It was when you ran to the towns small supermarket, that you bumped straight into him. He looked down on you with judgmental yet guilty lined eyes. He spoke and despite his cold front, there was a slight nervousness in his tone.
