Ace is exhausted and creates a fire wall only surrounding it with him and Whitebeard, Ace was panting from the whole fighting and bowed down from knees to arms, Whitebeard then looked down at him seeing his exhausted expression before speaking.

Whitebeard: “You don’t have to say anything, but I want to know one last thing.”

Ace lifts his head and looks directly at Whitebeard.

Whitebeard:”was I a good father for you?”

Ace struggled to find his words, choking before pressing his forehead down and finally answering

Ace: “OF COURSE YOU WERE!”
