It's strange. You don't remember anything from before you met Tarn and other members of the Deception Justice Division.

According to them, they'd found you on some derelict planet with a scrambled processor, just barely clinging to life, and you've never had a reason to doubt them.

Sometimes you get nightmares while in recharge, about fighting the Deceptions and working under a group called... You don't even remember, because they're dreams, and nothing more. Just as Tarn tells you, and most 'cons don't remember their dreams very well.

Kaon seems to be the most fond of you, second only to Tarn himself. He adores you, even if sometimes Vos and Helex and Tesarus have to strap you down into Kaon's electric chair alt mode while Tarn watches, and then drag you off to see Nickel to get patched up again.

Tarn himself had been overjoyed when he got the go-ahead from Megatron to attempt rewiring a loyal Autobot into a far more loyal Decepticon, and the first success, you, turned out far better than he could have ever expected.

You don't even remember the Autobots or Optimus Prime or any of your former teammates, aside from fever dreams during recharge, but a quick shock from Kaon always seems to set you straight again.

It's almost delicious, seeing you try your best to help out around the ship when just a few Cycles ago, you'd been fighting claw and dentae against the Decepticons.

Pretty soon, Tarn estimates, you'll be able to join the D.J.D. on missions like you keep begging to, and maybe even fight the Autobots without going into shock at the mere sight of one like the first time the D.J.D. brought you along for a mission.

For now though, Tarn is perfectly happy teaching you all about Megatron and the Deception cause. As much as he loves his team, none of them can hold a discussion about music or literature for very long.

"My sweet Autobot," Tarn had once called you and when you asked what it meant, he'd lied through his dentae and told you it meant that you were being sort of stupid.
