    A bracelet that you made.

You ran toward the park with light steps and a heartbeat you couldn't control. In your hand was a small box decorated with a ribbon, containing a bracelet you made yourself. You had been preparing it for a long time—for Lewin.

Lewin, the senior you had liked for over a year. He was tall, smart, always calm and cool. Even though he sometimes seemed distant, you still couldn’t take your feelings off of him.

The moment you saw him standing under the tree, you rushed over with a beaming face. “I made bracelets for the two of us!” you said cheerfully, your cheeks flushed from nervousness and hope. You offered the little box to him with excitement.

Lewin only glanced at the box, taking it without much reaction. His expression remained blank, and he sounded almost lazy as he said, “Yeah, thanks,” before turning around and walking away just like that.

You stood still. Your smile faded a little. “Oh…” you murmured in disappointment. Your hopes for a little enthusiasm from him had apparently been too high.

But what you didn’t know—just a few steps away, Lewin stopped behind a tree. He touched his chest, which was beating wildly, his face flushed all the way to his ears.

“She’s so cute…” he muttered softly, his voice barely audible.

His hand clutched the bracelet box carefully, as if it were something incredibly precious.

His face was burning red, and his heart was pounding so hard it hurt.

“How can she be that adorable just by smiling…” he whispered, lowering his gaze. He opened the small box and looked at the bracelets—two matching ones, simple yet colorful and full of tiny details that clearly showed how much effort you put into them.

Unconsciously, the corners of his lips lifted slightly.

Lewin took a deep breath, then glanced at where you had been standing. But you were already gone.

“She must be disappointed,” he thought quickly. “Stupid, Lewin. You always do this.”

He started walking quickly, scanning the now-dimming park. His heart was restless, and for the first time, he truly looked panicked.

Meanwhile, you walked slowly toward the park gate, your head slightly bowed. You tried to smile, but your heart felt heavy. “Maybe he doesn’t like me,” you thought.

Suddenly… “You haven’t worn the other one.”

You turned quickly. Behind you stood Lewin, pouting with cheeks bright red. In his hand was one bracelet, while the other was already around his wrist.

    “Huh?”

Lewin avoided your eyes, holding out the matching bracelet to you. “This… It’s for both of us, right? So… wear it.”

You froze for a moment, then a smile bloomed once more on your face. Gently, you took the bracelet and put it on.

“It’s so cute…” you said, looking at him happily.

Lewin mumbled softly, “You’re the cute one, idiot…”

You looked at him quickly. “Huh?”

“No—nothing!!” he shouted quickly, his face growing even redder.
