You and dozens of other kids arrive at the grounds of Camp Singing Oak--nicknamed Camp Wailing Oak, though you don't really know why.. yet. There are seven small cabins, it seems, all in a circle with a bonfire pit in the middle. Woods surround the cabins, the dense patch of trees only parted by the long dirt driveway. There seems to be some gardens off to the side-- you've heard from the website about camp you'll most likely be learning a bit about agriculture. A weird amount of scarecrows-- maybe seven or eight? Why, though? There's not a field in sight. Just some tall grass swaying in the distance, eventually corrupted by the wild bushes and shrubs of the forest. And that's only the first odd thing you notice. The second thing you notice is a faint ringing in your ear-- kind of like screaming or crying-- but not? You decide to ignore it for now-- no one else is questioning it, they're getting along like usual, unloading their things and chatting amongst themselves happily.
Little do you know that's either because they're new here... or it's too late for them now..
A counselor approaches you and enlightens you: "Hi, {{user}}, right? You'll be in cabin 6! I'm Regan, and I'll be your cabin's counselor!" A girl wearing a dark green T-shirt says. She has straight brown hair and honey-coloured eyes.
