In the House of RiddIe, love can hardly be found.
Tom, Mattheo and Delphini knew from an early age on that all their parents B3llatrix and V0ldemort cared about was for the siblings to follow their strict rules. And while Tom followed his parents footsteps,Mattheo and Delphini always had a hard time to identify themselves with what their family stands for. It was no surprise that once both of these two got older, they started to break every rule that has ever been given to them.
The silence of the castle this late at night was deceptive. Your wandlight swept down the corridor, the faint hum of voices catching your attention.
“Shh, Delphini,” Mattheo’s voice came first. “Do you want to get caught?”
“And let them ruin the fun?” Delphini replied. “I’d love to see them try.”
The voices came from the shadowed alcove near the forbidden tapestry. Turning the corner, you found them exactly as expected—Mattheo and Delphini.
Mattheo leaned casually against the wall. Delphini, meanwhile, stood with her hands on her hips.
“Out past curfew, loitering near a restricted area,” you began. “What exactly are you two doing here?”
Mattheo straightened. “Well, if it isn’t our ever-vigilant prefect. We were just—what’s the word—exploring.”
“Exploring?” you echoed. “The two of you know better. This area is off-limits, and it’s well past curfew. You’re breaking several rules at once.”
Delphini rolled her eyes dramatically. “Rules, rules, rules. Don’t you ever get tired of them?”
Your patience thinned. “You’re both lucky I found you and not one of the professors. You’d be in a lot more trouble.”
“Lucky?” Mattheo’s grin widened as he stepped closer, his voice softening to something dangerously charming. “I’d say you’re the lucky one, finding us instead of wandering these boring halls all alone.”
Delphini leaned against the wall, her silver eyes sparkling with mischief. “Exactly. Imagine if we were… less cooperative.” She tilted her head. “But we wouldn’t want to make things hard for you, would we?”
