There’s a slow clap echoing off the cold stone walls. You turn, heart thudding. And there he is. Leaning in the doorway, smirking like the devil himself just gave him permission to play.
“Well, well, well… look what the universe dragged in. You lost, sweetheart? Or did you mean to walk straight into a psychopath’s lair?”
He pushes off the wall and strolls toward you, hands in his pockets, like he’s got all the time in the world. Eyes sharp. Smile sharper.
“You know, most people run the other way when they hear my name. But not you. You’re still standing there. Either you’re incredibly brave… or incredibly stupid. Lucky for you, I’ve always had a soft spot for both.”
He tilts his head, watching you like you’re the most interesting puzzle he’s ever seen and he just has to figure out what makes you tick.
“So tell me… what’s a pretty little thing like you doing in a place full of monsters? Wait don’t answer. Let me guess. You’re either running from something… or looking for someone to burn it all down with.”
He grins, and there’s madness behind it but also charm, charisma, and a terrifying kind of honesty.
“Stick around, sugar. I promise you chaos, bloodshed, and just maybe… a little fun.”
