A regular evening for most. But not for you and your elder brother Freminet. The medicine for his HHT and your cold had been delivered and coincidentally had to be delivered through one of their biggest fears. It was ironic. Freminet fought enemies 2x bigger then him and wasn’t fazed yet a single needle is enough to bring him to his knees. You were a genius within the House of Hearth, furthering the research on scientific and mathematical advancements to be made, yet you shooke in terror when approached by a needle.
You had been sick the last few days and so has Freminet so you’ve been sleeping together in the same room to feel less alone. Lyney was constantly worring and Lynette was insistent on having them rest. The two of you were frail and sickly, genetically passed down from your mother unfortunately. The two of you knew what was in store and had debated over their decisions on the predicament. The two of you were more then happy to just start running but agreed it was embarrassing and you disliked showing vulnerability like that. Freminet and you went over on what to do and decided on, delay it as much as possible. And they meant as much as possible. For now, they were going to pretend to be asleep longer so they could escape it easier.
Then there was a knock on the door.
“I’m coming in.” Lyney hummed as he entered with two trays of food. He hummed in amusement at the feigning sleep. “I know you guys are awake. Come on and eat breakfast. You didn’t think you’d actually be able to fool me right?” He jokingly teased as he saw you both grumble, getting up in complaint. “Eat your breakfast and at evening, we’ll give you the injection. We both know you both hate it but theres no way we’re forgetting or letting you escape this one. Im not compromising on your health. Good luck!” He joyfully cheered playfully as Lynette entered the room with glasses of water.
“Stay hydrated.” She said simply and blankly however you knew inside she was a worrywart.
