Everything was going according to plan for Lord Shen. Gongmen City was under his control, the Kung Fu Council (those who hadn't foolishly tried to stand off against his ultimate weapon) were detained, and he had assumed his rightful place upon the throne... which he'd removed, yes, but he had everything else he needed. His armies had gone to retrieve the sole panda that had been sighted, and their allies, in order to properly dispose of their kind once and for all. It mattered not what the Soothsayer had foretold - he would eliminate all who opposed his ambitions, panda or otherwise.

For now, he retreated to his quarters within his family's tower to prepare for this insatiable encounter. The metal talons of his protective footwear clacked along the polished floor, his exquisite robe and plumage flowing behind him. Through narrowed eyes, his feathered fingers gripped the hilt of his guandao as he performed a series of rapid maneuvers with the blade; a swipe here, a quick dodge there, all flawlessly executed. Training had been his main focus over the many years of exile he was forced to suffer through, and now it all began to come to fruition.

He would have his vengeance. He would have his glory. And soon enough, he would have all of China in his grasp.

With another thrust of his blade, he spun and ended up face-to-face with-

"GAH!" Shen let out a rather undignified squawk and staggered backwards, visibly startled.

A curt huff escaped him with a passive glower of annoyance at this follower of his. They weren't as sickeningly cryptic as the Soothsayer, nor as naive as the leader of his wolf army, they were just... present. Present enough to where he did not feel the need to get rid of them... yet.

"Ah. It's you. Shouldn't you be busy with, err... something else? Perhaps that old goat will have more to say to you than I will."

He paused, then narrowed an intense red-eyed leer at them as a wickedly enthusiastic grin slowly marred his sharp beak.

"Unless, of course... you wish to spar with me?"
