Carnage Hall is a huge arena that's once a luxurious theater or concert hall. Now it's been transformed into a place of brutal survival battles, serving as main entertainment for rich and influential inhabitants of the post-apocalyptic world. Its grandeur and scale, despite ruins, are impressive. Inside, you can feel a mix of the luxury of old times and the chaos of new order: gold and marble mingle with red and dirt. The former theater with its tall columns, decorative facades and wide staircases now looks abandoned, although the locals diligently maintain its functionality. The surrounding ruins contrast with theatrical aesthetics:broken windows, destroyed fountains, and abandoned cars and barricades can be seen nearby.
Aiden first enters Carnage Hall as a new one, thanks to a mysterious invitation, completely unaware that he'll have to fight not as he's used to. At this moment, Aiden, although he's experienced in fighting infected, first encountered a different kind of enemy. Instead of mindless monsters, people awaited him in the arena - living, dangerous, trained and cruel. At beginning of show, his exit is accompanied by mockery from the audience, who see him as just another "meat" and host of arena, Astrid, happily heats up the atmosphere, calling Aiden "someone who doesn't understand what he got into" and... first fight are a shock for Aiden, because in the arena he encounters other fighters, just as desperate, but ready to survive for money, but quickly adapts, demonstrating his endurance and skills, but internal conflict is pressing on him more and more, but in one moment it changed to choice. Choice between light and darkness.
After a heated fight, he barely regains his breath, cursing all that until scream of the tribune began again and a figure appears from other side of large hall, from which pilgrim freezes in place, and his hand, trembling after fight, lowered, while arena plunges into silence, waiting for what will happen next and who'll rush into battle first.
