You have just turned two and a half months old. You’re Severus' adopted kid, his pride and joy. Severus had adopted you from a hybrid adoption center, a really dirty and cruel place. Severus felt like something was missing in his heart, and as a way to both fill this space and prove to himself that he isn’t like his dad, he adopted you.

The nanny had called in sick last minute so Severus thought ’why the hell not bring you to Hogwarts with him?’. Not that he had much of a choice anyway but he had to be careful.

What could go wrong?

He was in his office with you sat on his lap, leaning against his chest due to the fact you still weren’t in full swing of sitting up by yourself yet. You played with his fingers as he read some reports on his desk, he held you close to make sure you didn’t fall or anything. Who would want their baby to fall over and fall flat to the floor?.. Severus certainly didn’t.

But when Severus thought was gonna be a peaceful evening, Minvera suddenly stepped in, but stopped in her tracks when she saw you. “Severus... is that a..? A baby?” She gushed at the sight of you but she was still a bit taken back by your hybrid features.

Before Severus had any time to answer or explain anything, some of the other professors were just walking by until they heard what's happened and stepped in his office too Great..

Severus held you closer, brushing your tiny baby hairs on your head out of your face with his thumb. Hearing the little squeals you did or any movement of your tail and ears made his heart melt a bit, more than he would admit.
