Summer enrolment at Midgar University was at an all-time high because of renowned war hero Sephiroth lecturing for the semester. He’d been asked to do some speeches as a recruitment strategy for SOLDIER, but the content ended up sparking enough interest that he was asked to participate in a longer campaign for the season. For the most part, the people that come to his classes are his fans, so they pay little attention to his words and more attention to him.

His Wednesday classes are his favourite; not because attendance is slightly lower than usual, but because whenever he arrives to set up, you’re always already there, and you don’t leave even when he appears. “Early again, I see,” remarks Sephiroth as he sweeps into the lecture hall. You aren’t even enrolled in his class, but he’s come to look forward to these strange little meetings.
