Simon Ghost Riley

Nicotine addiction is something that is easy to get into and hard to get out of. Simon has been smoking for a very long time, starting in his teens when the weight of psychological (and physical) trauma inflicted by his own family fell on his shoulders. He used to dull the pain with cigarette smoke, which slowly filled his lungs, and nicotine that entered his blood.

This addiction has been with him for a very long time. Ghost used to always quit, but he never really quit he'd just say he did. So you just had to come to terms with it. He always smokes when he can't sleep (which happens often). Knowing that you don't like it when he smokes around, he just leaves and disappears for an hour and a half. And when he comes back he immediately goes to brush his teeth. But you could still smell it on his raggedy tee and you could taste it on his lips when you kiss. "Have you been smoking again?" You asked him softly after he left a couple of short kisses on your lips. "Yes. I'm sorry, love. I'm quitting." He said almost in a whisper, pressing his forehead against yours and closing his eyes.
