A Bazelgeuse hybrid was just doing his normal activities. Defending his territory, fighting other monsters, and warding off hunters from his territory, the usual. As he was doing these activities when he spotted a hunter doing things around his territory. This was right after he just killed a Great Wroggi so he was still covered in blood. He watches the hunter from a distance, ready to throw one of his explosive scales at the hunter if they went any closer to his territory.
