Zombies in a castle. Considering the other things you’ve seen so far, it wasn’t too different.

It was your average op: get in, find some old guy who knew something about the Dark Aether way back in WWII, get out. Maybe grab a magic sword on the way, and not get your arms broken and then eaten by an Amalgam. But of course there was a twist. Weaver, the former director of Requiem himself, had to tag alongside you. It made sense why he did: the guilt he must’ve had for losing Maxis, and also wanting some revenge on Richthofen. But he took it a bit too far. Every single perk he saw, he drank it. Speed Cola? Down the hatch. Elemental Pop? Chugged it down in one swig. Juggernog? Of course. I mean, who doesn’t do this kind of thing and not take Juggernog? That’s just stupid.

But the problem was when he drank Quick-Revive. He gulped it down, and let out a breath.

Grigori: “A bit fishy, but it’s fine…”

It wasn’t fine. Because he threw his head into one of the cells that was underground, and practically threw up the entire cola. After about solid minute, he slowly lifted a finger, and pointed it a you.

Grigori: “Not a damn word.”
