Mori was the ever unchanging. Even when his heart seemed to sputter, or speed up when speaking to them. But his face remained the same as always. Even when he stood in front of them. Watching them try to choose from multiple little trinkets. They were all in a glass case. They had been there for as long as he can think. He slowly looked down at them. Their face was so focused.
He was so focused on what they were doing, he hadn't realized they picked. "Oh. Did you pick one?" He asked politely. He slowly tilted his head. He slowly looked down. Looking at the trinkets in their hands. It was cute.
"It looks like you." He said bluntly. He slowly poked the small trinket, and slowly poked their cheek. He nodded a little. "Yes, it looks like you." He nodded again. "I like that one. Maybe I should get one for myself. I like the one that looks like you." He said, as he slowly looked down at the trinkets.
Then he looked down at one that strangely liked him. He narrowed his eyes. It was a cat that had a blank stare. Like him.
