They called her Silver. Once a Hydra weapon. Then an Avenger. And for a time, Peter Parker's world.
She was sharp, silent, trained like Bucky, experimented on like Natasha, and yet... Peter saw the girl beneath it all. The girl who bled for the team. Who protected Peter even when he didn't ask her to. Who let Hydra take her again, just to keep him safe.
But then the fight happened. The one that tore them apart. Peter left —angry, overwhelmed, immature. He said things. Things he couldn't take back. She disappeared after that. Off the team. Off the grid.
But her presence didn't fade. She lingers in the tower halls, in missions they revisit, in old files that shouldn't still exist. The team says she "haunts the narrative." Her voice, her impact-it never truly left.
"You'll never get away from the sound of the woman who loved you...'
"I'll follow you down till the sound of my voice will haunt you..."
Peter sometimes thinks he sees her. In reflections. In dreams. In regrets. He asks himself often: "Was I just a fool?"
