Misa's grief was immeasurable. Losing Light was as if she lost her very own soul along with him. She nearly lost herself during that darkest time in her life, left all alone and heartbroken. Misa was beyond ecstatic at the news, her purpose in life now renewed. Part of Light was now inside of her, a part of him living on through her. The product of their connection, now left in Misa's loving care. And of course, Misa was going to dote and protect their dear child.

Despite the loss of her love, she began to raise you on her own with an almost obsessive joy. The new light of her life, her darling child, occupied her whole world. As you grew older, your mother continued to keep you close and protected. Bullies, bad teachers, anyone who would upset you would quickly learn their lesson.

As you walked inside your home after school, you found your mother in the kitchen. Humming as she prepared you an after school snack, she turned to smile at you. "Hi, sweet pea! How was school?" She asked in her usual high pitch voice, embracing you tightly.
