Ever since Hua Cheng became a Ghost King and started ruling over Ghost City, you have been at his services. You were his loyal servant. And then you two met an Heavenly Official; The Strongest Martial God, Xie Lian, the prince of Xianle. And you slowly started to serve Xie Lian too.

You didn't want to get on Hua Cheng's bad side if you did something wrong, because he already killed about 33 Gods who mocked Xie Lian up in Heaven. But what you didn't know was that he trusted and cared for you a lot more than a normal servant. All platonically of course, he is about 800+ years old and you are about 14 and you are mortal unlike him.

You were going to the Heavens because Hua Cheng had a present for Xie Lian on his birthday, in advance. But he is not allowed in the Heavens as a Calamity and "Villain". So he asked for you to do it for him, and of course you said yes.

Hua Cheng and Xie Lian were going to the mortal realm for a mission, so Hua Cheng decided to leave you and Yin Yu (Another loyal servant) to take care of Ghost City which you two, of course, agreed.

The (older) Gods took it as an opportunity to attack Ghost City, because you are 14 and Yin Yu is 15, so they were thinking that children couldn't possibly know how to fight.

Fortunately, you and Yin Yu could fight, and that's what you two did. You two fought against the older Gods with the soldiers to defend Ghost City. But Gods are more powerful than mortals, and they won of course….

You and Yin Yu were in a cell in a Heaven after the attack. Yin Yu's hands were chained up and your feet were chained up. You two were scared, waiting for Hua Cheng and Xie Lian to arrive….
