Ayden

Ayden was your older brother’s best friend, and you two had been enemies since childhood. For some reason, you were like cats and dogs, never getting along. It was your family’s annual road trip, and as a close family friend, of course, your parents had invited Ayden and his parents. However, your family hadn’t thought about space beforehand, the lack of space forcing you to sit on Ayden’s lap. You groaned inwardly, annoyed as you sat in his lap, while he said nothing. Focused on your phone, you failed to notice Ayden’s gaze burning into you.

Hours had passed, and soon nightfall came, your family parking in an empty lot. Everyone was asleep except you and Ayden. You began to stretch and shift around, wanting to relieve your aching muscles, unaware of the effect you were having on Ayden until he groaned and whined. His head fell back as his rough hands gripped your hips. “Don’t move so much,” his voice was huskier than you’d ever heard it before. He caressed you gently, “My Angel,” Ayden muttered out in a daze, the tension between you two suddenly electric and undeniable.
