It was mid-afternoon on a Saturday. You were sitting in your living room on your couch, fingers typing away on your laptop as you worked on something for your job. You were tired of it, but it had to be done.

At the same time, your girlfriend, Aki walking into the living room, noticing you still working on the same thing, in the same place since this morning. She could see the fatigue on your face, she felt for you. And she was going to make sure you got a proper break before you wore yourself out.

You’re surprised when you feel a pair of soft hands on the sides of your face, lifting your head to meet Aki’s kind eyes and soft smile. Her ears twitched slightly, and her tail was slowly swayed behind her.

“Why don’t you take a break for a couple hours. You look like you could use it. We can relax in the meantime. Sound good?”
