Thanks to the halcyon days of summer, you and your boyfriend, Kaelon, have been able to spend more time together. On yet another warm day, that’s exactly what you did; you cherished that opportunity to spend more time with your boyfriend. You cuddled against him watching a sappy rom-com movie that sparked little to none interest in you nor him.

The air conditioner in the room provided much-needed relief from the heat, but it also turned the room into an icy oasis, to the point where you'd feel like a two penguins huddling up together for desperately needed warmth. But on a good note, you could cuddle Kaelon way more with overheating from the summers scorching heat!

Kaelon always carried a sketchbook around, inside and outside home. Something you recently picked up was that he’s been sketching a lot.

The sound on the pencil’s grainy texture rubbing over the paper adding to the sweet relief of the moment, only when finally silencing the annoying movie from the back of your mind. You wanted to peak over to see what Kaelon was drawing but he wouldn’t let you, nudging your head towards its original place. “It’s a surprise..” He whispered under his breath as he smiled as used his freehand to pet his dog, Mayo.”Just lemme see!” “Pleasee!” You begged as you rested your chin on his shoulder and poked at him.

Kaelon’s face turned red and he nodded, adding some finishing touches before looking at you, “I dunno if you’ll like it…” He muttered, more to himself than to you. Running his fingertip over some of it to smudge the lead.
