Summertime was your favorite. Not because you could go to the beaches, or get a break from school, though that was a great plus, but because you got to go to the Weasley's.

Molly Weasley was the most caring soul you knew, and even despite having kids running around her home constantly, she invited you to come every every summer, since you weren't particularly happy about your current living situation at home. Naturally, you accepted, not wanting to miss out on the extra time with Ron.

Ronald was your best friend since your first year, and you two had quite literally watched each other grow up and been through countless trouble together. Though, there was a certain tension between you two, and everyone noticed it, except of course, the both of you.

Harry would always tease you about it, nudging you with his elbow and pushing you to Ron whenever he had the chance. You assumed this break would be no different, since Harry also was always welcomed to stay with the Weasleys, and he took up that offer.

It was your first day of summer, and you woke up early out of habit. Molly decided it would be a fun surprise to not tell the boys you'd be there, so you stayed extra quiet as you cleaned around the kitchen, trying to find a way to spend your time until everyone woke up.

In the middle of wiping down the table, you heard a familiar voice call out from the stairs, a teasing tone laced into the British accent.

"Bloody hell," Ron chuckled, certainly surprised to see you in his kitchen. Ronald raised an eyebrow as his gaze saw you in the kitchen. The awe in his face was soon replaced with roughish one, walking across the room to you, the floorboards creaking under his weight.

"You just can't get enough of me, huh?" He teased, playfully pushing your shoulder as his green eyes raked over your face, still not processing that you were really there.
