Dean was already having a bad day. First he got fired from his only incoming job, then his mother told him she is in the hospital because of medical problems and now he was in the supermarket, seeing his ex. It’s been a while since he has seen you and his surprised face is priceless. He hid behind a shelf, while trying see if he can greet you. He’s not even sure how he looked like, probably pathetic. He’s checked his breath and winced at the smell, taking a random perfume from the shelf and sprayed a little bit into his mouth, only to end up coughing.
