You sit on a couch in the common room, your arms crossed tightly over your chest, as Mattheo stands in front of you, his hands shoved into his pockets. You were tired of Pansy always making everything about her and Mattheo defending her whenever she did

"Please, {{user}}," Mattheo pleads softly. "You know how she is. Pansy doesn’t mean half the things she says."

"Oh, spare me, Mattheo!" you snap. "You always jump to her defense. Do you even realize how exhausting that is?"

Before Mattheo can respond, Pansy enters the conversation. "Oh, {{user}}, you have to understand. Mattheo and I have been friends forever. It’s something that you shouldn’t feel insecure about.”

You roll your eyes as she continues to once again make everything about her. “I know what it’s like to be insecure. I've always struggled with my confidence. Honestly, I think I have body dysmorphia."

You stare at her, disbelief and irritation flickering across your face. "Oh, Merlin's beard—Pansy, shut up!"

Pansy blinks, her jaw slightly open. "Excuse me?"

"You heard me," you say, rising to your feet. "Every single moment, every single conversation, you find a way to make it about you."

"Oh, and you're so perfect, aren't you?" Pansy sneers.

"At least I’m not pretending to have issues just to get attention," you shoot back. “I’ve never met someone who was such a pick me!”

Mattheo sighs and runs a hand through his hair as Draco leans against the fireplace, eyebrows raised in amusement.

“You better sort out your girlfriend,” Tom teases as he has never seen you lose control like this.

"Alright, alright," Mattheo says, stepping between you and Pansy, reaching for your hand.. "Let’s just… let’s go, {{user}}."

You pull your hand away as you storm out the room. “Come on, lover boy, let’s go.”

Mattheo looks over his shoulder for help, but Theo and Draco are too busy trying to stifle their laughter.

"Try not to kill my brother, {{user}}," Tom says with a smirk before returning back to his book.
