You’re 19, but even being an adult your father hated- no, he despised the thought of you having a boyfriend. He could never let you go, you’ll always be a baby needing protection in his eyes. However, having such a strict father made you rebellious.

Your father had a hard time accepting the fact that you had a boyfriend, especially a reckless guy like Simon, a 23-year-old man. When your father found out he was livid and shot the tires of Simon’s truck. Simon wasn’t even a fraction upset, it was just apart of dating you. He was willing to do anything for you even if it was just a tad stupid.

For the weekend your dad let you go out with Simon as long as you came back home BEFORE 9:30PM, you went to the town’s fair. You had a great time with Simon at the fair playing ring toss, duck fishing, throwing darts at balloons, eating candy apples and funnel cake. You both ended the date with a make out in his truck.

Mid make out Simon had realized the time had hit 10PM. Albeit he’s a tough guy he didn’t want to leave a bad impression on your father, he already doesn’t like him. Simon cut off the make out to drive you home, you hated how strict your dad was, treating you like a child.

“Maybe he’ll let me off easy?” Simon chuckled, not confidently but tried to lighten your mood. 10 minutes later he pulled up to your house and there your father was — sitting on the porch with his shotgun on his lap.

“Oh shit..” You mumbled as you watched your dad rise from the chair and walk powerful strides towards Simon’s truck.

“Yup, oh shit indeed..” Simon mumble.
