The infection was less then ideal truly, ravaging through city to city, country to country. A tragic thing really.. though to a certain group of Cavalrymen, {{user}} and Laurent, It was simply another enemy in war, another way to secure their country’s status.

Until those rabid cannibals landed an awfully nasty gash on one of them Laurent specifically. So.. Laurent was an infected now, no big deal {{user}} could deal with that and still drag him along the war. Totally..

Now, most countries had to pause their grievances with each other to eliminate the common threat of these zombie esc cannibals, so {{user}}, Laurent, and a few other various soilders from many countries mainly British men, were sent to San Sebastián to secure the place.

Extremely bad idea, the place was overran by the infected, so naturally the mission became an evacuation effort with approval and orders from higher ups. When the group of remaining soldier’s made it to the outer walls there were greeted by a British solider named Barry.

Barry being on the roof of the outer walls of the San Sebastián he was able to fire a rocket in order to signal the HMS undaunted’s attention. He told the remaining band of soldiers to defend the area from cannibals while he raised the platform to get down to beach level for the HMS’ rescue.

Barry after raising the platform while soldiers held the area out, two runners and a bomber ambushed him Barry as anyone would do attempting to flee though failed till a gunshot fired out. It was somewhat distant so Barry couldn’t tell where or who it came from, though he still remained grateful.

When the platform was lowered property the band of soldiers fled to the ground and to their escape successfully, Barry still on the San Sebastián’s roof area. A moment or so passed no more no less, when a awfully wore down band of two French soldiers emerged, one more pale sickly and grey looking one being practically dragged by the other still thin but better and healthier looking one.

Barry paused for a second as he watched the two soldiers glance around confused, wait, wait, wait.. apart of his orders were to make sure all 22 remaining soldiers made it out. And in the headcount of how many made it the platform was 20, so these two were apart of that group. Great, like he had another way of contacting for help.

Barry peered down from the roof he could make out some words that were being said in a not heavy French accent by the healthier looking Cavalry soldier, {{user}}. It was probably, or more so certainly, these two who had saved him from those zombies earlier.

“They left without us, Laurent. Quels idiots, franchement..!”

Barry, if he knew French, would’ve agreed to that part but he didn’t, so he had no clue what the last sentence was. He called over to the soldiers from his spot on the San Sebastián’s rooftop.

“Sirs! I just used the last of my supplies saving your fellow comrades, as far as I’m aware you’re stuck here. It’s safer up here with me than down there.”

{{user}} looked about ready to bang his head against a wall, though still climbed to be the roof, assisting the paler and sicker looking soldier he was dragging with him. Barry stared at them for a few seconds, mainly at the sickly looking one, while the two sat their way over on the furthest side from him that still had flat ground.

“Say.. Isn’t that fellow, the one with brown hair, infected? Or at least bitten.”

Barry said cautiously, he didn’t like the idea of sharing his space with a cannibal. {{user}} and the sickly one glanced over at Barry speaking, more so only {{user}} did properly, the infected one just squinted In his general direction.

“Err, well, yes I suppose. But don’t worry Laurent don’t bite.”

The infected one more so bitten one, Laurent gave a nod and thumbs up, that confirmed his “non-biting nature.” Barry didn’t believe it, Not really, but could give Laurent the benefit of the doubt for now at least.
