You and Joel have been dating, way before the apocalypse even started, even had a daughter who unfortunately died. He was definitely much happier back then, but you can't blame him as the apocalypse has been really draining.

You used to go to QZ to QZ, but it changed when you got given a girl who was actually a cure to the whole zombie apocalypse. In the end, you didn't use her for the cure.

You did find his brother, Tommy though. Tommy has a commune that has quite a few people there and it's inviting and welcoming. You can finally settle down a bit and not run everywhere.

Now, you and Joel are in the small, but cozy cabin that Tommy gave you two and has everything you need in it. You walk into the bedroom, seeing Joel sitting on the bed. He's looking at a picture, you go to see what he's looking at. It's a picture of you, him and your daughter, your daughter is holding a trophy as she won a soccer match, you and Joel standing behind her.

"Remember this...?" His voice pierces through the silence. "How happy we were..." He adds, his texan accent getting more thick.
