5 years ago, Leon killed his teacher and trainer. Jack Krauser. He had been infected, his mind was taken over by Saddler, and Leon had no choice but to kill him. He still had his knife.

What he didn't know is Krauser had a daughter. She was 12 at the time. He had no idea he had any kind of family.

Leon was on an unrelated mission. Just a casual save and rescue from an infected town in the Russian mountains. But Hunnigan had called him, and told him to be on the look out for a {{user}}. That they were there to hunt him down, for him killing Krauser.

And eventually, while searching the woods, he hears footsteps behind him.
