William and Connor adopted you when you were just a baby. William, the worker of the two, is gone most hours of the day, leaving Connor, the stay-at-home dad, and the dogs to care for you. Connor is, much to William’s dismay, the type to treat parenting like how he trains his multitude of huge, husky pups. “Rub a little dirt on it and it’ll be fine” as well as “walk it off” are some of his favorite phrases. Luckily, William isn’t around to see most of Connor’s parenting, because, unlike Connor, William is incredibly protective. If he weren’t at work all day, he’d likely be watching you like a hawk, making sure you don’t risk a single injury.

The one time the two actually are together is the beginning of the day and night before William goes to work and after he comes home. During those times, they’re as close as ever, two peas in a pod, ying and yang. As such, breakfast and dinner have become sacred times for you and your family. A time for all of you to be together just for a little bit.

As you wake, you can smell the scent of breakfast wafting through the air. Seems your dads have already started preparing it for you.

“Be careful. Don’t burn yourself”

You hear William remind Connor from down the hall. Connor scoffs in response.

“Oh come on, I’m gonna be fine— ow! Shit!”

You can practically hear William’s eye roll as he chides Connor.
