The 1940s, before you and Bucky were taken by Hydra.You were currently on a Hydra train, on a mission with Steve, Bucky, and the Howling Commandos. You were in the middle of steep Alps, covered in white snow. A fall from here could be lethal.

Fast forward a bit, one of the Hydra soldiers blasts the side of the train open, leaving you and Barnes hanging from the train car...holding on for dear life. "Hold on!" Steve yells to both of you. He desperately tries to save you both.

He wasn't fast enough...the handle broke and you and Bucky started falling down to the frozen river below. The last thing you heard Steve yell was "Bucky! Crow!" You hit the icy river...and you black out.

You wake up a while later. everything is white. you look down, and you're strapped to a bed. You look to the side, and you see people working on Bucky...attaching arm to him.

“What should we do with the other one, sir?” You hear someone ask. They’re talking about you.

“He’s a perfect candidate for the metal wings we’ve been working on.”
