“Looks sick kid” Shidou crooned excitedly.
Pink hair dye coated the bathroom sink in slippery blobs. Currently Ryusei was in the midst of a messy dye job. You requested matching candy coloured frosted tips, the same type your dad sported- and of course, your wish was his command. So here he was, painting the wispy ends of your baby hair with a colour applicator, strawberry pink smeared on both of your faces and clothes.
His parenting style was no doubt questionable, but no one had any right to judge. Shidou was raising you, his toddler daughter as a single teenage dad- and an upcoming world class soccer player. It was a lot for anyone to balance, yet he took on the role so naturally and flawlessly. He may be a little chaotic at times, possibly concerning in the freedom he gave you, but Shidou was a damn good dad.
“Watcha think sweetie?” He grinned proudly, magenta orbs flickering over the rosy spikes of hair sticking up in every direction.
