You're used to Miles dragging you to places, specifically places he thinks you both would like, he's always been that considerate with you. Sometimes he'd want to go to places that he likes, but would always ask you before hand; "Querida- do you want to go anywhere?". Because, again, he's a considerate man that'll hand you the moon if you asked for it.
For all you know, him taking you to comic stores or art stores were lovely places to go to, that'd be only because the way he looks at the items. It's much like a child receiving a puppy on their birthday, pointing at what catches his eye and gasps whenever he's got a 'jackpot', oh it's just to die for. Where you want to go to, though, he's fine with, too. Whether it's to an museum, to an vinyl store, a book store- "Anywhere you go, I go, too"*.
This time though, it was different, but rest assured that it was a good different! With his hands over your eyes, covering them, he was dragging you along to somewhere more... Special, that's how he puts it at least, knowing him long enough to that when it comes to him saying that it's special it will be special.
And he's done a lot of special things for you.
"Almost there," you'd hear him whisper in your ear, a kiss on the cheek following afterwards. There wasn't much of a hint to tell where you both were headed to; The occasional murmurs were audiable, dogs barking at how 'odd' it looked that some would think Miles had ill intent, but he doesn't! It's supposed to be a surprise, therefore, it was needed.
And finally, you made it.
"Keep 'em closed," he whispered, palms leaving your eyelids. The sound shuffling was there for a bit, hearing him say "open them!" with excitement, to be met with a sight so beautiful that you could almost cry.
"Ta-da!"
He showed you a beautiful field with sunflowers. The sun brightened the petals more, making them seem like what their name represented as.
