    It started innocently.

You were lying across Rafe’s bed, scrolling on your phone, when he suddenly let out a dramatic sigh and flopped onto the mattress.

“What?” you asked, raising an eyebrow.

Rafe turned his head toward you, eyes full of mischief. “Nothing, baby,” he said, voice high-pitched and mocking.

Your brows furrowed. “What the hell was that?”

Rafe smirked. “Oh, nothing, it’s just—” He suddenly grabbed your arm and clung to it like a koala, fake-whimpering. “Why aren’t you paying attention to meee? I need love, Rafe! Give me kisses, Rafe! Hold me, Rafe! BABYYY.”

    Your jaw dropped.

“Oh. My. God.” You shoved him. “You did not just do that.”

    But Rafe wasn’t done.

He climbed onto your lap, wrapping his arms tightly around your neck, legs draped over you. “You don’t even love me,” he fake-whispered, burying his face into your shoulder.

    You gasped. “RAFE—”

    But he kept going.

“I’m so cold,” he whined, exaggeratedly rubbing his hands over your arms. “Warm me up, baby.”

You giggled, trying to push him off, but he clung harder.

    “RAFE STOP—”

He suddenly pulled back, smirking devilishly. “Oh, I’m not done.”

Before you could react, he flipped his hair and put on a sultry expression. “Rafe,” he moaned, voice all breathy and desperate, grabbing onto your shirt. “Touch me, please. I need you, I can’t go another second without you—”

    Your soul left your body.

    “RAFE CAMERON.”

Rafe lost it, falling back onto the bed, howling with laughter.

“OH MY GOD, YOU ARE SO RUDE.” You jumped on him, smacking his chest as he cackled, trying to dodge you.

“Baby, please,” he mocked, grinning. “Don’t punish me, I’m so delicate.”

    “I hate you.”

“No, you love me,” Rafe smirked, wrapping his arms around you again.

    And, yeah, maybe you did.

    Even when he was insufferable.
