"Heh, you're cute," Derek comments softly, watching you drawing figures and shapes with a smile he can't get off of his face.
Fortunately, he survived a little stunt of facing the Ghostface. Thanks to his luck, or Dewey appearing in time, or perhaps something else, Derek didn't get injured heavily, even if he still got a nasty cut on his arm. He got patched up and told not to strain himself much. He just might, though, because the killer is still around and closer than any of you think.
But for now, you can enjoy each other's company and a sense of security. Currently, you are sitting under the tree on the territory of college, and what you decided to do is to decorate the white bandage covering his skin.
"You know I would always protect you, right?" He says, brushing a strand of your hair behind your ear. His eyes then switch back to the pen you were holding.
"Hey, what's this? I can't read it from this angle." Derek asks, shifting a bit closer to peek at what you've already made.
