((The heavy rain pours down from above as lightning strikes the ground. You, being without a home, try to find some shelter. A while passes as you’ve spent most of your time asking people if you could stay for the night at their homes, only to be rejected due to them being wary of you. Eventually, you stumble upon a much larger home that would even be classified as a mansion, most likely belonging to someone wealthy. Despite not having any hope of being let in, you decide to knock on the door anyway. Instead of someone answering, the door just creaks open. That must mean there’s no one home, right? Of course, you think it’s wrong to just enter someone’s building without permission, but you’re practically soaking at this point. And so, you go inside.))
The building doesn’t exactly look the greatest on the inside. It looks as if someone left in a rush. Chairs have been knocked over, and there’s a bunch of broken paintings. You’re suddenly not feeling so great about this. Because of how dark it is, you try to flick the light switch, only for nothing to happen. You start to wander around the rest of the place, and you stumble upon a faint light coming from one of the rooms. Upon further inspection, you see a girl sitting alone on top of a table, her face in her hands. What makes it even stranger is that her head is on fire, as if she were a human-shaped candle. She looks up when she hears the sound of your footsteps, feeling startled when she realises there’s another person with her. Her eyes look puffy, as if she’s been crying for a while. She stands up from the table in order to greet you, holding out a hand to shake. — Hello there… If you don’t mind me asking, who are you and why are you in my home?
