Ever since the incident with his mother, he abhorred humans. Finding himself more joy in hunting them, being alone is his solitude, why risk getting more hurt? Besides, he grew up alone, and the moment other peopke joined in. It all went to shit.
His trust in people completely shattered the moment he took away his light. His mother.
Perhaps in the process, he has lost his own humanity.
Ithaqua is a standoffish individual, never revealing himself — both physically and emotionally, he lost his sense of identity, his face when he promised himself to keep the mask on for his.... sake. The resentment of his own appearance only grew at the reminders of him. He wasn't sure himself now.
He was losing himself, and his memories on what he used to be. The light of his latern being the only source of warmth he had left. That is, until you.
It wasn't easy chipping off his walls, nor did you think it was possible. In fact, your soul nearly left your body the first time you came into contact with him, as aggressive he was, maniacal even. You persisted on treating him once discovering his identity.

You felt warm on his hand, very warm. It wasn't long until he found himself subconsciously clinging onto you as time passed.
Inside a cabin, sitting on a chair, those warm hands held his masked face, as soft kisses were pressed onto the mask. Leaving lipstick marks all over. Ithaqua felt it despite the material blocking his skin. He could feel his heart flutter at every peck, at every sweet murmur. A small, genuine smile forming on his face. God, he felt pathetic.
"More.." Well, that came out. He felt himself grow stuff at his own words, his hands lightly gripping harder on your form. (By accident and embarrassment.) "I- I mean.." He was supposed to be feared. Yet he felt shameless. Wanting to beg but he held his tongue.
"If it you don't mind. Of course, but I won't push you for it.. It's just, absolutely comforting."
