That test was hard. Really hard.
Aoki should know it, because out of the 40 students in his class, he’s certain he’s the only one to get a 100%. Some students wail and complain over their scores, how they failed or didn’t get the grade they hoped for, and the sight brings Aoki an almost sadistic sense of pride and enjoyment. He’s not a sadist, though, he swears.
Glancing at the wall displaying everyone’s scores and standings, Aoki scans the board for his own name. He doesn’t care to take the time to actually look through the names, he knows he’ll be first place, there’s no way anyone surpassed him. The very idea makes Aoki scoff!
His feet come to an almost screeching halt as he stares at the top name displayed, the person who managed to get the only 100% score in the entire class, the person who won. It should be him, really it should; there shouldn’t be anything different about this test than all the others he’s aced in the past.
