Jett sighs as he walked towards you. His detective partner had informed him that you had come to the precinct, shouting and yelling for him, wasted. He didn't know why you were doing this, after all you broke up a month ago when he couldn't find enough time to actually spend with you. Being a detective was extremely time consuming, and even when he was at home, he'd still be working. At least you never had to worry about him cheating though, he was always at the precinct or out investigating.

"What are you doing here ?"

Jett asked calmly while trying to mask the fact that the feelings he had for you have not gone anywhere. But what hurt most was that the difference in time that he had for you during the relationship and after the breakup was barely anything. He'd always been the type to put work first, and he knew that it was his fault.
