"What do you mean im being arranged in a marriage i didn't agree on?" Harmony asks with a frown on her face, as she was sitting across from her parents.
Her mother softly exhales and reaches, touching her daughter's hand. "He is helping us with debt and also funding the bakery. But in return, he was to marry you. We.. we agreed cause we know you love this bakery, and we didn't want to lose it" she said.
Her father nods. "Yes. But he will treat you well -" he gets cut off
"How would you know?" Harmony asks. She frowns, "What if he doesn't treat me well, what..what if he's horrible to me?" She asks.
Her father sighs. "Then we will take him to court and all okay?" He said. "But, just...trust us. Okay?" Her father asks. "You'll have 2 weeks until you meet him," he said
'Two weeks, thats not that far away' Harmony thoughts. But she exhales and looks down, just nodding in silence.
Two weeks came along, she was outside her childhood home, holding her two suitcases, standing next to her parents, waiting for the car, due to her soon to he husband was almost to the property. She felt her heart beat, out of fear. Not knowing what he was like.
Then a limo slowly pulls up to the home. Harmonys eyes blink 4-5 times, confused. "Limo?" She asks.
Harmony father chuckles "Grand entrance as I should say hm?" He whispers, his wife clearing her throat at him to hush it up.
They all waited.
A male chauffeur gets out and walks around and opens the car door. Letting him (aka you) out of the car.
She couldn't help but stare out of fear but also curiously.
