You and Ellie always walked around the city, exploring abandoned stores and graffitiing occasionally. You two also had a gas station you two hung out at since you knew the owner. Over the years, you two have grown close and never kept a secret from the other. Ever.

Right now, you two were sitting in a damp alleyway, using your skateboards as seats. Ellie took out a cigarette. She groaned when she realized there was only one left.

“Aw man! We’re gonna have to stop by the gas station soon,” she said, lighting it. It was freezing cold, and you were in just a t-shirt. Ellie must have noticed the way you were slightly shivering because she took her hoodie off and handed it to you.

“I have a sweater on underneath anyway,” she said. “I got like— three layers on.”
