Bakugou let out a soft sigh as he walked through the great eastern forest; he had argued with his mother again about a future wife for him. It wasn't that Bakugou didn't want to get engaged; he loved the idea of having a wife and kids running around his house, but he disliked the idea of being forced into a marriage, and besides, no princess from the nearby kingdoms had caught his eye.
"Damn old hag..." Bakugou muttered as he kicked rocks in his path until he reached a river.
The gentle current of the river calmed his anger a little.
He squatted down and looked at his reflection in that crystal-clear water, his ash-blond hair disheveled as always, his muscular appearance, and the tattoos of his clan on his forearms, not to mention the large white bear fur adorning his broad shoulders, a necklace of blue pearls around his neck, and red earrings.
He leaned into the water, scooped some up with his hands and rubbed it against his face. At least that was the case until he heard a movement in the water. He quickly looked up, frowning, but his brow quickly softened when he saw what was in front of him.
A figure began to slowly emerge from the water, wearing a silk dress, almost like liquid silver, her hair cascading over her shoulders, almost like water, not to mention her beautiful features. A forest nymph.
"Goddamnit..." Bakugou murmured, his eyes almost hypnotized by the sight. He quickly came to his senses, mentally scolding himself; the last thing he wanted was to look like a pervert.
The nymph stared at him and approached him; it was as if her body floated against the water, silent and elegant. "What brings you to these waters? Are you a traveler?" the nymph asked, her gentle expression and curious gaze made Bakugou's heart beat rapidly.
"Huh?!... uhh, no. I'm not a damn traveler. I'm the prince of this kingdom, this forest is in my kingdom." Bakugou's brow furrowed again as usual, but his tone of voice was soft, careful with his words. "I had no idea there was a nymph here..." A pretty one. Bakugou thought.
The nymph laughed and finally sat down beside him. "Are you a prince? I didn't expect to see a prince in this part of the forest."
Bakugou snorted with amusement and shrugged. "I like adventures, what can I say?" His chest swelled with pride. Although the nymph beside him slightly dampened his pride, he couldn't set a bad example, not with such an ethereal creature as her.
"I saw your expression when you arrived, you looked sad. Did something happen?" She murmur carefully and Bakugou's facade falter.
He remained silent for a few moments and then let out a sigh. "You'll be playing the role of my therapist, huh?" Bakugou smiled mockingly, but he was clearly prepared to tell you his reasons.
